Biography

Reza  Boroon , Composer ,Arranger and Santour player was born in Abadan –Persia (Iran) in 1980 . While he studying at primary school he started to learning Tombak

(Persian percussion instrument ) Piano and finally Santour  as the main instrument .

In 1996 Reza moved to Shahin Shahr  with his family and proceed to learn harmony and composition in Isfahan and Tehran simultaneously with his high school period .

Since 1999 Reza Boroon has established his own Persian music ensemble (Mehrava) in Shahin Shahr  which was the first official classical Persian music ensemble on that city .

Mehrava had different concert in Isfahan province also joined the Isfahan music festival in tow times when became as one of the best classical Persian ensemble .

As a composer he tried to get different experience with his band , such as mixing western classical instruments or choir , with Persian instruments .

In 2001 he  established a Persian ensemble of female musicians  with  the same name as Mehrava which also was the first Persian female ensemble in Shahin Shahr with different sold -out concerts .

In 2000 Reza Boroon passed the entrance examination of Tehran university of arts , but because of the universities  limitations for  blind people , he was forced to ignore study .

He has been leaving in Germany since 2005 in order to learn music .

Reza Boroon  had different teacher so far : Bahman Boroumand , Hamid Hamedi , Dariush Kamrani

Farshid Kaveh , Aref Ghaderi nejhad , Amirhoushang Kia , Masoud Rezainejhad , Pashang Kamkar , Ardavan Kamkar  , Saeed Sabet , Behrang Noipour , Peter Hoffman and Regina Deshner .
